Sending the PDF in an email

pdfMachine integrates with MAPI compliant mail programs such as Outlook, Outlook Express and Netscape to ease the sending of PDFs via email. Supports Simple MAPI, Extended MAPI, Outlook and SMTP. HTML style emails can be sent with PDF attachments. Support for SSL / TLS / SMTP mail, eg gmail.

It is easy to email the PDF straight from pdfMachine. You can do this by any of the following methods :

Use the 'Send' button from the pdfMachine toolbar.
Automatically send the PDF by email upon creation.
Send in bulk using pdfMachine Merge.
Send in bulk using Word mail merge with the pdfMachine Office addin .
Send using Parameter Parsing.




Email using the Send button

1. Setup your email configuration within pdfMachine. You only need to do this once or each time you wish to change it.

2. With your PDF open in pdfMachine click the 'Send' button on the toolbar, as shown below. This launches the default email client with the PDF file attached. The PDF file will have a default filename which is based on the original document filename but can be edited.


3. Depending on your email setup the email will automatically send or you will be prompted to fill out the email details and then send it.

1. Setup your email configuration within pdfMachine to have the next action of "Launch Default mail client with attached PDF". You only need to do this once or each time you wish to change it. While doing this configure settings to instruct pdfMachine whether to use preset details or whether to prompt for the details.

2. Print to pdfMachine. Depending on your setup the email will automatically send or you will be prompted to fill out the email details and then send it.
