Split & Parse

Split Parse

pdfMachine merge split & parse will take a PDF file, split it up into smaller PDFs based on some boundary text, then process each of these smaller PDFs extracting “field” information.

e.g. You may have a legacy application that produces a single PDF containing 100 statements. Each statement contains a person’s name and their email address. The split & parse feature will create 100 PDF files and a spreadsheet file (CSV) containing 100 rows of data with columns for email, name and PDF filename.

This data can be used in a pdfMachine merge profile where 100 personalized emails will be sent each with the correct PDF attachment.
